JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION: Logistics Coordinator
DEPARTMENT: Store/Warehouse
FLSA: Non-Exempt
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Logistics Coordinator will be tasked with ensuring timely delivery of products to clients while maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor. Collaboration within a team environment is essential, and adherence to all delivery regulations and company protocols is required.
SUPERVISION:
The Logistics Coordinator will report directly to the Store Manager or the Supervisor in the dispatch area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Guarantee precise delivery of products using company vehicles;
- Efficiently manage customer returns and process credits;
- Communicate customer feedback to management;
- Maintain a valid driver's license and ensure vehicle upkeep;
- Follow company policies and safety regulations;
- Support special projects as required.
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred;
- Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening;
- Obtain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report.
- Professional attitude with strong problem-solving abilities;
- Capability to handle customer inquiries with tact;
- Detail-oriented with basic computer skills;
- Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities;
- Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT:
- Ability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs without assistance;
- Frequent periods of sitting with occasional physical activity;
- Exposure to various environmental conditions;
- Valid driver's license and proficiency in English required;
- Maintain cleanliness of the vehicle and monitor fluid levels;
- Adhere to safe driving practices and report any incidents promptly.
