Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Maintenance Plans: Create and execute comprehensive maintenance plans to ensure the upkeep of our grounds, gardens, and landscaping.
  • Manage Irrigation Systems: Service and maintain multiple irrigation systems and backflow preventers to ensure efficient water usage and minimize waste.
  • Supervise Grounds Staff: Lead and manage a team of grounds staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources and training needed to excel in their roles.
  • Manage Budget and Inventory: Oversee the yearly landscape budget and manage inventory of supplies and equipment to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Communicate safety standards and incident reporting processes to teammates, ensuring a safe and compliant work environment.
  • Support Event Operations: Assist with event weekend housekeeping and cleanup crews, ensuring that our facilities are always ready for events.
Requirements
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar grounds/landscaping role, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a project management/supervisor role.
  • Education: High school diploma or GED (equivalency).
  • Skills: Proficient in the English language, knowledge of Spanish is highly desirable. Strong written and oral communications skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
