Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Part-Time Faculty member to teach Nondestructive Testing and Inspection related course work at San Jacinto College.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach Nondestructive Testing and Inspection related course work.
  • Develop and implement course materials and assessments.
  • Provide academic advising and support to students.
  • Participate in departmental and college-wide initiatives.
Requirements
  • Associate (or higher level) degree in an appropriately relevant field.
  • Three (3) years work experience in Nondestructive Testing, Inspection, Metallurgy, Metrology or Quality, exclusive of teaching experience.
  • Previous experience in teaching or training in NDT or technical topics is preferred.
Working Conditions

Faculty are assigned to teach courses using various delivery methods based on the teaching area and the needs of students and the College, which may require a physical presence at the assigned on-site work location.

CPET courses will generally be conducted at CPET but may occasionally be taught on a different campus or at an external training site.
