Veterinary Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Banfield Pet Hospital. As a key member of our hospital team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients, clients, and colleagues.

• Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with medical procedures and exams
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and their pets
• Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, exam rooms, and lab
• Educate clients on preventative care and our Optimum Wellness Plans
• Mentor and support other hospital team members

• Certificate of completion from a NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant program or equivalent experience
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Ability to perform all required skills of NAVTA-approved veterinary assistant programs
