Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Practice Administrator to lead our healthcare operations team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, direction, and daily operations management of our practice(s).

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leadership and Direction
  • Provide leadership and direction to the practice operations team to ensure maximum utilization of resources and efficient delivery of services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient flow, staff productivity, and overall practice performance.
  • Collaborate with physicians and staff to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
Operations Management
  • Oversee the daily operations of the practice, including front desk reception, billing, and medical assistants.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance, including revenue, expenses, and budget management.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements.
Staff Supervision and Development
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Provide coaching, counseling, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills.
Regulatory Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and accreditation standards.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Collaborate with the Compliance Officer and VP of Human Resources to ensure effective compliance.
Communication and Collaboration
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with all levels of personnel, including physicians, staff, and administration.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Team to develop and implement outreach projects.
  • Assist the VP of HR with provider satisfaction surveys and other initiatives.
Requirements
  1. Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum five years' work experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Seven to ten years direct supervisory experience in a similar setting.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Computer competency is required.
  • Ability to follow directions precisely with attention to detail.
  • Ability to relate well to people.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred.
Reporting Relationship

Reports to Interim CEO.
