Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Manager RN Endoscopy to join our team at HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake. As a key member of our Endoscopy Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and leading a team of nursing professionals to achieve exceptional outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Director of Surgical Services in coordinating department activities to achieve strategic objectives and align with the facility's mission, vision, and values.
  • Collaborate with the nursing staff to develop and implement evidence-based practices, ensuring continuous quality improvement and patient satisfaction.
  • Provide clinical guidance and support to the nursing team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with physicians, staff, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Participate in Performance Improvement activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to enhance patient care and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  • At least 3 years of experience in an Endoscopy setting, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership or supervisory role.
  • Procedural or Endoscopy experience is required, with a strong understanding of endoscopic procedures and patient care.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS Certifications, with PALS certification preferred.
