Ambulatory Care Nurse

UNM Hospitals is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Ambulatory Care Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide high-quality patient care and contribute to the development of our nursing team.
Key Responsibilities:- Deliver safe and effective direct care to patients in the ambulatory care setting
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Participate in orientation and precepting of new personnel
- Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained
- Document and communicate clinical findings
- Current RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement
- Nationally accredited nursing graduate
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Provider or Professional Rescuer within 30 days
- Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo
Heavy work, exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Chemicals and biohazardous materials require personal protective equipment.
