Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, servicing, and maintaining mobile equipment powered by gasoline, diesel, and electricity. Compensation:

Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze malfunctions and conduct repairs, rebuilds, and maintenance of equipment.
- Operate and inspect machinery to diagnose defects.
- Dismantle and reassemble equipment using hand tools and hoists.
- Examine parts for damage or excessive wear using precision instruments.
- Replace defective engines and subassemblies, such as transmissions.
- Test overhauled equipment to ensure operational efficiency.
- May supervise workers engaged in cleaning and assisting with assembly and disassembly tasks.
- Maintain accurate records of time and parts used.
- Ensure cleanliness of work and maintenance areas.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to enhance operational efficiency.
- Take proactive measures to avoid hazards or obstructions.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned to meet business needs.
- Adhere to regular attendance and promote an inclusive work environment.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates must demonstrate the ability to perform essential duties satisfactorily.
- Safety-minded professional with a strong record of performance and punctuality.
- Experience with diesel trucks and trailers, including air brakes.
- Must pass pre-employment physical and drug tests.
- Ability to comply with OSHA, MSHA, DOT, and other regulations.
- Capability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to various job tasks.
- Valid driver's license is required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
