About the Role

At Advanced Technology Services, we are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our industrial maintenance team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the optimal performance and efficiency of our factory operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement reliability-centered maintenance strategies to minimize equipment downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address potential reliability risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Conduct root cause failure analysis and implement corrective actions to prevent future failures.
  • Develop and maintain equipment maintenance plans, including predictive and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel to ensure effective execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in reliability engineering and maintenance management.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (ABET accredited) or equivalent experience in heavy industrial maintenance, reliability, or operations.
  • Minimum of five years of experience in reliability engineering or a related field.
  • Strong technical understanding of electrical or mechanical components, tools, and designs.
  • Ability to complete failure mode effects analysis, cause and effect diagrams, root cause failure analysis, life-cycle costing, and risk analysis.
  • Proficiency with computers, maintenance systems, and applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong verbal communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain positive, professional relationships.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with data trend analysis, vibration analysis, motor current analysis, oil analysis, lubrication and hydraulic testing, laser alignment, nondestructive testing, infrared thermography, ultrasound technology, acoustic reliability technology, Weibull analysis, and Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of various government regulations such as, Current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP), National Electrical Testing Association (NETA), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA).
  • Ultrasound I Certification, Maintenance Lubrication Analyst I Certification, CMRP/ARP/CRP/CRL Certification, Green Belt certification, STS certification.
