Role Summary:

As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for the operation, repair, installation, and upkeep of equipment across various water treatment facilities. You will work under the guidance of the Production Superintendent or Maintenance Foreman.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and troubleshoot instrumentation and machinery.
  • Manage chemical feed systems.
  • Conduct maintenance on heating and air conditioning systems.
  • Test and ensure the functionality of system protection devices.
  • Oversee emergency equipment and backup power systems.
  • Inspect facility equipment and carry out installations or modifications as required.
  • Engage in training programs and workshops.
  • Be available for on-call responsibilities and additional hours as needed.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of six years of experience in equipment maintenance.
  • Certification in a relevant trade may be necessary.
  • Ability to acquire required licenses within three years of employment.

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be capable of lifting up to 100 pounds and performing physically demanding tasks.
  • Must possess strong visual, auditory, and verbal communication abilities.

All candidates must be authorized to work in the United States and successfully complete pre-employment screenings.
