About the Position

Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art is seeking a skilled Multimedia Producer to join our Marketing and Communications team. As a Multimedia Producer, you will be responsible for creating engaging digital content that showcases our exhibitions, collections, and educational programs.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and produce high-quality multimedia content, including videos, audio guides, and interactive experiences, that align with our brand identity and strategic goals.
  • Edit and refine multimedia content to ensure visual coherence, narrative flow, and alignment with our messaging.
  • Collaborate with cross-departmental teams to develop engaging narratives and thematic approaches for multimedia projects.
  • Work with internal teams, external partners, and freelancers to execute multimedia projects from concept to completion.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in multimedia production and digital storytelling.
  • Implement accessibility and inclusivity principles in multimedia production and design.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and archives of multimedia assets and project files.

Qualifications and Skills
  • 2-4 years of professional experience in multimedia production with a strong portfolio of work.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in communications, broadcasting, journalism, video production, animation, graphic design, or related field.
  • Expertise in photography, videography, animation, and graphic design.
  • Proficiency with audio editors and multimedia production software such as Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Strong conceptual and visual thinking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and desire to produce high-quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and synthesize complex ideas or concepts.
  • Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
Work Environment

The position requires utilizing a computer and telephone for prolonged periods of time, good eye/hand coordination, verbal and written conversation with others, and lifting/carrying up to 10 lbs. Vision abilities required by the job include close vision. Work will be performed in an office environment full-time, with some overnight travel possible.
