Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital is seeking a skilled and dedicated Nurse Manager to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, the successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during their shift.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinates the delivery of quality nursing care for patients from birth through the lifecycle, as well as operational issues during their shift.
- Provides clinical care as needed when census demands.
- Communicates patient care, departmental issues, and staff concerns to the appropriate leader(s).
- Serves as a resource for guidance and assistance to the staff.
Requirements:
- Graduate of a nursing program.
- One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting required.
- Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
- BLS certification required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Two or more years of nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable.
- Demonstrated clinical competency.
