We are currently looking for a meticulous individual to fill the role of Bakery Associate. In this position, you will oversee the packaging, labeling, and pricing of bakery items, while ensuring optimal stock levels and product excellence. Key Responsibilities:

  • Restocking and rotating baked items to comply with quality assurance and food safety protocols.
  • Supporting bakery staff with the preparation, packaging, labeling, and presentation of products.
  • Encouraging product sales through effective suggestive selling techniques.
  • Assisting in the organization of pallets and sorting of products under guidance.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic workspace.
  • Delivering excellent customer service by welcoming customers and processing orders.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 16 years old.
  • Individuals must be 18 years or older to operate motorized equipment.
  • Food Handler certification is mandatory.
  • Comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.

Physical Demands:

  • Continuous standing or walking.
  • Frequent use of hands for reaching, touching, or handling.
  • Regular talking and listening.
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, squatting, or stooping.
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs and occasionally up to 75 lbs.

Work Environment:

  • Frequent exposure to varying temperature conditions.
  • Handling of equipment with sharp edges under supervision.
  • Regular exposure to cleaning chemicals.
