Housekeeping Associate

Job Overview: Coons Franklin Lodge is seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to maintain the cleanliness and well-being of our cabins and common areas. As a member of our team, you will play a vital role in ensuring an exceptional guest experience.

Compensation: The estimated salary for this position is $25,000 - $30,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer room and board, which includes dorm-style housing and 3 staff meals a day.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and maintain cabins and common areas according to lodge standards
• Perform tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, making beds, vacuuming, and dusting
• Address guest requests and concerns in a timely and friendly manner
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and communal areas as needed
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel
• Follow health and safety guidelines for cleaning and sanitation
• Complete additional responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor
• Work collaboratively with other staff members

Requirements:

• Previous housekeeping experience is preferred but not required
• Must be available to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds
• Familiarity with cleaning supplies and methods is a plus

Fun Things to Do at Coons Franklin Lodge: We highly encourage all our staff to make use of the beautiful Northwoods and the resort activities available while not working. Some popular activities include:

• Hiking and biking on our scenic trails
• Sailing, water-skiing, canoeing, rowboating, and kayaking on Trout Lake
• Playing basketball, tennis, and golf
• Joining our staff Yoga class in the Lodge on Tuesdays at 10 am

Getting Here and Getting Around: We are located about 10 miles from the towns of Woodruff and Minocqua. For those who prefer to bike, we recommend using paved trails instead of Highway 51. Public transportation is minimal, so it's best to bring a car if possible.
