Job Summary:

As a Computed Tomography Technologist at Decatur County Memorial Hospital, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This position requires a strong foundation in radiology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures.
  • Administer nonradioactive materials into patients' bloodstreams for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports of patient procedures and results.

Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Two to four years of experience in computed tomography or a related field.
  • Registered in radiology by the ARRT and BLS certification required.
