Building Materials Sales Specialist

*Founded in 1890, we are currently looking to fill an Inside Contractor Sales position with a professional who possesses knowledge on Building Material Products and has a strong background in sales. This role will involve working to meet prospect customers' needs, effective suggestive and upgrade selling, and closing technique.*
Key Responsibilities:
- Understand the marketplace and know product features
- Work to meet prospect customers' needs
- Effective suggestive and upgrade selling and add on sales
- Effective closing technique
- Maintain customer projects from initial quote through invoiced sale
Additional Duties:
- Support outside sales with product selection, questions, and order writing
- Assist with estimating material needed for projects
- Schedule deliveries to satisfy customer needs and maintain profitability
- Develop continuous business relationship with customers and vendors
