About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Fermentation Scientist to join our Pilot Plant team at dsm-firmenich. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of bioprocessing and driving our company's success.

Key Responsibilities

Design and conduct laboratory and pilot-scale experiments to evaluate and optimize fermentation technologies and support process development for new products.

Collect, analyze, and communicate experimental data effectively to inform decision-making and project direction.

Assess new technologies for process robustness, safety, and waste generation, recommending improvements as needed.

Manage or participate in projects following the PMP process, ensuring timely and effective execution.

Provide expertise to manufacturing sites and collaborate with teams to coordinate and execute experiments at external facilities.

Write technical transfer documents, assist in process scale-up, and prepare Business Case Analyses for site changes.
