Job Title: Recreation/Recreational Therapist

Memorial Healthcare System is seeking a Recreation/Recreational Therapist to join our team in Hallandale, Florida.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled Recreation/Recreational Therapist to provide therapeutic recreation services to our patients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in recreation therapy and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement recreation therapy programs for patients with various needs and abilities.
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine patient needs and develop individualized plans.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Provide education and training to patients and families on recreation therapy techniques and strategies.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Recreation Therapy or related field.
  • Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification.
  • 2+ years of experience in recreation therapy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
