Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nutrition Associate to join our team at NorthBay Health. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and clean environment while preparing and serving high-quality meals to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation standards.
  • Prepare and serve hot and cold meals to patients, ensuring accuracy and quality.
  • Stock patient nourishment rooms, other patient care areas, and the physician lounge with food and supplies.
  • Operate a cash register and handle customer transactions in a professional manner.
  • Receive, inventory, and stock food and supplies, ensuring accurate counts and rotation.
  • Assure therapeutic diet and allergen accuracy in the delivery of service.
Requirements
  • High school graduate preferred.
  • Current Safe Food Handler's certificate required.
  • One-year food service experience, within the last 3 years, with hot and cold food production and customer service required.
  • Knowledge of sanitation, safety, and infection control procedures.
