Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Anders Group is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist for a travel job in a reputable healthcare facility.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to interventional radiology procedures, including preparing patients, operating imaging equipment, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform interventional radiology procedures, including angiograms, biopsies, and embolizations
  • Prepare patients for procedures, including explaining the procedure, positioning the patient, and administering medications
  • Operate imaging equipment, including fluoroscopy and ultrasound machines
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, including disposing of biohazardous waste and cleaning equipment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including radiologists, nurses, and technologists

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree in radiologic technology or related field
  • Current ARRT certification in radiography and interventional radiology
  • 2+ years of experience in interventional radiology
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
