We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our primary care team at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Nashville, TN. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $67,893-$88,262 per year.

About the Position

As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will play a critical role in delivering patient-centered care to our veteran population. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assessing patients' physical and emotional needs
  • Developing and implementing individualized care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Educating patients and families on health management and self-care
Responsibilities

Your duties will also include:

  • Participating in interdisciplinary rounds and conferences to discuss patient care
  • Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
  • Contributing to quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A current, active LPN license in the state of Tennessee or eligibility for licensure by exam
  • At least one year of experience as an LPN in a primary care setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
  • Demonstrated knowledge of medication administration, including IV therapy and immunizations
  • Ability to lift 30 pounds or more, twist, bend, stand, and walk almost constantly during the day
