Residential Painting Specialist

CertaPro Painters of North Orlando - Space Coast is seeking a skilled Residential Painting Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our painting crew, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional results in residential environments.

About the Job

This role offers an estimated salary of $45,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. We are committed to providing a safe and healthy work environment, as well as ongoing training and development opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Job Site Preparation: Set up duties at job sites, including moving items to the center and covering surfaces with sheeting and drop cloths.
• Surface Preparation: Repair holes and cracks, seal stains, and sand surfaces for interior jobs or remove loose paint, scuff sand areas, and caulk gaps for exterior jobs.
• Painting: Prime repaired areas and apply premium quality paint to a uniform finish.
• Cleanup: Daily cleanup and final cleanup after job completion, including sweeping/vacuuming floors and carpets for interior jobs or removing paint chips/debris for exterior jobs.
• Inspection: Inspect work for the highest quality.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with regulations and standards.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Education: High school diploma or GED required; advanced education degree or coursework preferred.
• Experience: Two years of professional painting experience preferred.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, exceptional customer service skills, highly organized, and self-motivated.
• Licenses/Certifications: Unrestricted driver's license and clean driving record.
