Football Coach Job Description

The Simpson University football program is seeking a highly motivated and experienced coach to join our team as an Assistant Coach, Football - Defense. This position requires a strong background in sports management and coaching, with experience working with student-athletes. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Head Coach in the management and administration of the football program, including instructing during practice sessions and workouts, preparing plans for personalized instruction, and attending seminars and conferences for personal growth and enhancement of student-athlete instruction.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in sports management or a related field, as well as high school or 1-3 years intercollegiate coaching experience. They must also have playing experience and/or student assistant experience in the respective sport. Additionally, they must have a valid California driver's license and be able and willing to travel.
