Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Sit-down Forklift Operator to join our team at Staffmark Group. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for operating sit-down forklifts to efficiently move, load, unload, and stack products for shipping and receiving.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate sit-down forklifts to transport products and materials within the warehouse
  • Load, unload, and store products and materials in a safe and efficient manner
  • Use powered industrial equipment such as sit-down and stand-up forklifts, clamp trucks, and pickers to move products
  • Accurately complete paperwork and maintain inventory management systems
  • Ensure compliance with product rotation procedures and perform cycle counts
  • Conduct daily safety inspections of forklifts and maintain the facility's readiness for audits
  • Report incidents promptly and assist with general housekeeping duties

Requirements:

  • Minimum of two years of forklift operating experience; Forklift Operator license preferred or ability to obtain
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Basic computer skills and strong attention to detail required
