Position Overview


The Semiconductor Process Technician will be responsible for the fabrication of semiconductor and related materials within a controlled clean room setting. This role involves operating specialized equipment and executing routine tasks that require sound judgment.


Essential Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Interpreting and adhering to detailed work instructions.
  • Efficiently managing the flow of products and experimental materials through designated process stages.
  • Gathering and documenting process data and variations.
  • Maintaining a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Safely handling hazardous materials and energies.
  • Operating and overseeing processing tools and machinery.
  • Conducting quality inspections and assessments.
  • Ensuring products comply with established quality standards and identifying non-compliance issues.
  • Performing regular quality checks on processing equipment and methodologies.
  • Keeping track of necessary materials inventory.
  • Effectively communicating relevant information to team members.
  • Completing projects assigned by the supervisor as needed.


The role requires a high level of manual dexterity, enabling the technician to skillfully handle delicate objects and perform precise movements.


In addition to the core responsibilities outlined above, all employees are expected to:

  • Consistently meet company standards regarding the quantity and quality of work.
  • Follow company policies and procedures, maintaining professionalism in all job-related tasks.
  • Be adaptable to changes in duties as assigned by the organization.


Physical Requirements:
Must possess excellent hand-eye coordination. The nature of the work may involve extended periods of standing or sitting. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is required. The role also necessitates compliance with clean room protocols and safe practices when working with hazardous materials and energies, including corrosive and flammable substances.


Qualifications:

  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year in a similar role or a related manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Skills: Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills are essential. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Proficiency with computers, particularly Microsoft Office, is advantageous. Completion of the company's training program, including various levels of Health, Safety, and Environmental training, is required. Ability to thrive in a diverse team setting is crucial.
