Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Preoperative Nurse to join our team at Physicians Pavilion Surgery Center. As a valued member of our staff, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare patient care areas for procedures
  • Ensure availability of necessary equipment and supplies
  • Conduct thorough physical and psychological assessments
  • Review patient charts for completeness
  • Administer pre-operative medications and IV therapy as prescribed
  • Monitor patients until transfer to the OR
Requirements
  • Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma or Higher degree in Nursing
  • 1+ years of nursing experience in a clinical setting, preferably in PACU, ICU or Surgery
  • Active RN license as required by state of employment
  • BCLS Certification upon employment
  • ACLS required within 30-days of hire
  • PALS if required by facility within 30-days of hire
