Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roll-Off Driver to join our team at GFL Environmental. As a Roll-Off Driver, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently collecting and transporting waste and recyclables to our post-collection facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive a roll-off truck along designated routes to collect and exchange containers
  • Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and complete vehicle condition reports
  • Courteously interact with customers and the general public to answer questions and respond to requests
  • Notify supervisors of issues requiring management action
  • Clean loose trash from the truck and surrounding area to maintain a clean customer site and ensure safety
  • Maintain and submit DOT logbooks, daily route/productivity sheets, and vehicle condition reports as required
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent desired
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL), Class A or B
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Minimum one year of commercial driving experience or CDL school certificate
  • Ability to meet relevant safety standards and demonstrate safe driving and equipment operation skills
Working Conditions

Frequently exposed to loud noise, humidity, and extreme weather conditions. Work in outdoor environments up to 100% of the time. May work in high-traffic areas and be exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration.
