Job Summary

The Valet Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to members and guests at The Desert Highlands Association. This role requires a friendly and approachable demeanor, with a focus on anticipating and fulfilling customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet members and guests promptly upon arrival, offering a warm and welcoming smile.
  • Park and retrieve vehicles in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring the safety and security of all vehicles.
  • Assist members and guests with personal belongings, providing a high level of customer service and attention to detail.
  • Provide directions to various areas of the clubhouse, ensuring that members and guests are able to navigate the facility with ease.
  • Respond to member and guest inquiries related to Club policies and procedures, providing accurate and helpful information.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • One to three months of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Valid AZ driver's license and a history of safe driving required.
  • Must be 19 years of age for insurability purposes.
  • Ability to operate and drive safely automatic and manual automobiles.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.

Work Environment:

The Valet Attendant will work in a busy golf club environment, with frequent exposure to outside weather conditions. The employee will be required to stand, walk, run, and lift 25 to 50 pounds periodically throughout the shift.
