Recently, we have broadened our scope as a single-source supplier by incorporating a Mechanical Services Division and becoming a Miscellaneous Steel manufacturer. These enhancements aim to streamline construction costs and reduce the need for coordination with multiple suppliers and subcontractors. Our goal is to improve the services we provide to our General Contractor network nationwide, supported by four fabrication facilities strategically located across the country to optimize customer service and minimize freight costs and shipment lead times.

Position Overview:
A Material Handler (II) at Lennox AES is tasked with the organized and efficient movement of materials, products, and goods within our production facility. This role involves the assembly of packages and crates, playing a vital part in supporting production and ensuring the timely and accurate distribution of materials necessary for manufacturing.

Compensation: The hourly wage for this position is $18.50.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inventory assessments and maintain precise records of stock levels.
• Prepare shipments for dispatch and ensure all necessary documentation is in order.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining storage areas to facilitate efficient material handling.
• Report any damaged or defective items and coordinate with relevant personnel.
• Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and other departments regarding material requirements, shortages, changes, or issues.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and report any malfunctions.
• Cross-train and assist in other areas as needed based on workload.

Qualifications:
Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or construction is preferred.
• Forklift certification or the ability to obtain certification is necessary.
• Basic understanding of safety protocols in a manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with workflow operations in a production facility.
• Knowledge of wood design and pallet design principles.
