Key Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Assessment and Monitoring: Perform comprehensive assessments, monitor vital signs, and detect complications such as arrhythmias and heart failure.

  2. Clinical Care and Procedures: Administer medications, assist with diagnostic procedures, and provide pre- and post-operative care for cardiovascular surgeries.

  3. Care Plan Development: Collaborate with healthcare providers to create customized care plans and adjust them based on patient progress and test results.

  4. Patient and Family Education: Educate patients/families on disease management, medication adherence, and recognizing signs of complications requiring immediate care.

  5. Emergency Response and Critical Care: Act swiftly during emergencies, administer life-saving interventions, and manage acute cardiovascular conditions.

  6. Coordination of Care: Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams for holistic approaches, ensure proper scheduling, and facilitate referrals for advanced or specialized care.

  7. Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document assessments and interventions, timely report changes in patient conditions, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.

  8. Quality Improvement and Professional Development: Participate in quality improvement initiatives, stay informed on advancements in cardiovascular treatments, and engage in continuous professional development and training.
