About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team at Ascension Borgess Hospital in Kalamazoo, MI. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing patient care and supporting the surgical team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the surgical team in providing patient care under the direction of the Registered Nurse.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient care.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth and efficient surgical process.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements
  • BLS Provider certification from the American Heart Association.
  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification from the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting (NBSTSA) preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Completion of an approved Surgical Technologist program preferred.
  • Two years of current surgical technologist experience required.
