Teller I

Job Summary:

The Teller I position at Millbury Federal Credit Union is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and handling financial transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process deposits and withdrawals, verify account ownership, and ensure proper check holds.
• Process new account deposits and accounts according to MCU policy and procedure.
• Post payments and payoffs to consumer loans.
• Respond to computer downtime by working with off-line procedures and re-entry.
• Transact other services offered according to procedure, including Money Orders, MCU Official checks, travelers' checks, cash advances, and coin.
• Reconcile cash and daily work to computer totals.
• Assist with branch proof and maintain a secure teller station and line in accordance with credit union security policy.
• Provide a positive, professional environment for co-workers and members alike.

Requirements:

• Normal physical requirements, including prolonged standing and occasional lifting of up to 75 pounds.
• Ability to utilize a typewriter, keyboard, and adding machine.
• Includes, but is not limited to, communicating thoughts clearly, performing basic math, detecting details, interpreting, remembering short- and long-term information, and being organized.
