About the Position

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will be responsible for preparing patients and conducting diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine examinations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of duties required to prepare patients and conduct diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine examinations.
  • Update, log, and perform Quality Control surveys for contamination of daily shipments of stock radiopharmaceuticals in accordance with NRC regulations.
  • Perform radiologic examinations timely, accurately, and safely for radiologist interpretation.
  • Assure the radiology suite and adjacent clinical and common areas are prepared to receive patients and visitors.
Requirements
  • SC License
  • 2 Years' Experience
  • Operating knowledge of Nuclear Medicine equipment, PACS, and RIS.
  • Knowledge of bloodborne pathogens and universal precautions.
  • Strongly Preferred: Knowledge of IQ-SPECT Software.
