Head Cashier

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Cashier to join our team at Natural Grocers. As a key member of our store operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our front end, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting our overall store operations.

• Customer Service: Provide World Class Customer Service and a positive customer experience as the number one priority.
• Team Leadership: Train and direct cashiers, ensuring they are knowledgeable about our products and services.
• Operations Management: Oversee the completion of daily tasks, including cashier closeout responsibilities, issuing and verifying cash drawers, and handling returns and overrides.
• Inventory Management: Ensure that front end sets are full and well-maintained, and that all registers are stocked and ready for use.
• Communication: Communicate effectively with customers, cashiers, and other store staff to ensure seamless operations.
• Problem-Solving: Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of cashiering experience and 1 year of supervising others preferred.
• Skills: Excellent customer service skills, ability to multitask, and strong communication skills.
• Certifications: Ability to pass food safety training courses and/or certifications as required by law.
