Job Summary

The Ultrasound Tech plays a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of the Imaging Department at Medical City Las Colinas. As a key member of the team, you will work closely with the Chief Tech, Imaging Manager, Director, and Medical Staff to improve patient and workflow efficiency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform sonography/vascular procedures as outlined by the State of Texas and departmental protocols, including neurological disorders and stroke, oncologic, and cardiac services.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and families, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
  • Collaborate with other department leaders to develop and implement strategies to achieve established goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and achieve daily productivity and quality assurance standards set by management.
  • Prioritize work and meet deadlines while communicating effectively with colleagues and management.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Diagnostic Medical Sonographer certification.
  • Associate Degree in a related field.
