Urology Inpatient Hospitalist Physician Assistant

We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our Urology Inpatient Hospitalist Service at WMCHealth in Valhalla, NY. As a member of our team, you will work alongside experienced physicians and Advanced Practice Providers to medically manage urological inpatients.
Responsibilities- Perform medical evaluations, treatment, follow-up, and consultations for diverse urological adult traumas and acute care surgical patients.
- Medically triage and manage inpatient urological acute matters, as well as standard pathway admissions.
- Deliver direct patient care as part of a collaborative patient care team.
- Gain a working competency of procedures inclusive of, but not limited to, cystoscopy, cystostomy, as well as, complicated CBI management.
- Board certification as a Physician Assistant.
- New York State license or eligibility to obtain.
- Minimum 1-year clinical experience, although highly motivated new graduates with interest and abilities in urology or surgery/medicine subspecialty will be considered.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team.
