Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Laundry Worker - Linen Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our laundry and linen operations team, you will be responsible for collecting, sorting, and processing soiled linens, as well as maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect, sort, and load soiled linens into the washer(s) and load clean linens into the dryer(s)
  • Fold and count clean linens, and record the linen processed each day
  • Deliver clean linens to units in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the laundry area, machines, and work tables
  • Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow safety protocols to prevent injury and ensure a safe working environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
  • Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
  • Ability to work around food and cleaning products
  • Ability to live in the service area
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies, as required by state, local, and/or customers
