Parachute Rigger Specialist

Job Summary

As a Parachute Rigger with the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety of our personnel and equipment. Your attention to detail and technical expertise will be essential in packing and maintaining parachutes, as well as inspecting and testing airdrop equipment. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a strong understanding of shop mechanics and science, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Rig and inspect airdrop equipment, including parachutes and extraction systems
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on parachutes and other equipment
• Conduct technical inspections and testing to ensure equipment is safe and functional
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations and effective communication
