Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Specialist to join our team at Shaker for ChristianaCare Direct. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide safe and effective nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and aligning with accepted standards of progressive care nursing.
  • Administer, monitor, and document medications and treatments within the scope of practice.
  • Monitor and report expected and adverse reactions to treatments, procedures, and medications.
  • Collaborate with patients, families, and doctors to provide individualized care and support.
  • Coordinate and maintain a safe and secure unit for patient care.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Maryland RN license or license from a compact state.
  • American Heart Association BLS required.
  • American Heart Association ACLS required within 1 year of start date.
  • NIH Stroke certification required within 90 days of start date.
