Job Description:
This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with previous laboratory experience. The primary responsibility of the Laboratory Sample Processing Specialist is to manage and process laboratory specimens. The role involves collaborating with laboratory personnel to catalog patient samples, including blood, urine, and tissue, for subsequent analysis. The majority of the work will focus on blood samples, which are crucial for diagnostic and treatment purposes.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Receive and triage all specimens intended for clinical testing.
2. Manage clinical information within the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) database.
3. Conduct internal audits of clinical records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
4. Collaborate with various departments to maintain testing integrity and precision.

Qualifications:
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in biological sciences is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proven capability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
