Job Summary:

A compassionate and dedicated individual is sought to join our team as a Nursing Assistant in Training. This role provides an opportunity to develop skills and knowledge in patient care, working under the guidance of experienced Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist CNAs in Daily Duties: Provide support to CNAs in their daily tasks, ensuring the highest level of care for residents/patients.
  • Answer Nurse Call System: Respond to nurse call systems to determine resident needs and provide timely assistance.
  • Assist with Resident Care: Assist residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair, and incontinence care, promoting their overall well-being.
  • Food Service and Ambulation: Obtain food trays and assist residents with feeding, as well as assist with ambulation for short distances within the facility.
  • Document Services Provided: Accurately document services provided to residents, ensuring continuity of care.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or GED required.
  • Licenses/Certification: Within 120 days of employment, complete a state-approved nursing assistant training program and become certified.
  • Experience: Six months of experience in a long-term care environment preferred.
Essential Functions:
  • Punctuality and Regular Attendance: Maintain punctuality and regular attendance for assigned shifts, ensuring seamless care delivery.
  • Confidentiality: Maintain resident/patient confidentiality at all times.
