Job Title: Occupational Therapist Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team at Pacific Hills Manor in Morgan Hill, California.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will work closely with our team of therapists to provide high-quality care to our patients. As an Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans, conduct therapy sessions, and document progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
  • Conduct therapy sessions with patients, following treatment plans and utilizing appropriate techniques and equipment
  • Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed
  • Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Adhere to all ethical and legal standards in the provision of occupational therapy services
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with other therapists to ensure the best possible outcomes for patients
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting, preferably in a pediatric or school-based setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of relevant therapy techniques and equipment
  • Familiarity with documentation and recordkeeping procedures
  • Current CPR certification
