Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Production Specialist to join our team at our Annandale Plant. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for executing assigned duties to support our SQF requirements, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Execute assigned food safety, quality, and continuous improvement duties to support SQF requirements, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations.
  • Follow good manufacturing practices (GMP's) and company policies and procedures.
  • Assist in maintaining a friendly and positive work environment.
  • Produce products to recipe specification, using standard work as a guideline.
  • Inspect raw materials for quality and communicate any deviations.
  • Notify maintenance immediately if problems arise with equipment.
  • Verify the material being used is correct and sign off on recipe verification check-off sheets.
  • Verify slicing equipment is set up to deliver correct quantity and appearance.
  • Assure all products are being produced to recipe specification.
  • Pass a background check and be at least 18 years old.
Physical Demands and Environment
  • Must be able to bend, twist, turn, push, and pull.
  • Must be able to work in cool conditions.
  • Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
  • Must be able to reach overhead.
  • Must be able to be on feet for the majority of the day.
  • Must be able to keep up with manufacturing speeds.
  • Must be able to work with others.
  • Must be able to handle repetition.
