We are seeking a highly skilled Network Architect to join our Network Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience with architecting, configuring, automating, and supporting complete network systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and implement complex and secure network designs, applying concepts, best practices, and functions to meet business requirements.
- Advance network automation capabilities through identification, architecture, design, configuration, building, documentation, and maintenance of solutions to meet business or technology requirements.
- Serve as a technical mentor to team members and non-technical super users, providing training on tools and solutions.
- Evaluate existing network technology solutions to determine fit for new requirements, researching and recommending innovative solutions and alternatives.
- Create network solutions based on a disciplined process, meeting all change management, security requirements, quality standards, product, and service operating requirements.
- Work with stakeholders to deliver business outcomes by executing projects through the Product Development Life Cycle (PDLC), identifying, specifying, and analyzing business requirements and processes.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline, with at least 6 years of experience in IT networking, including 3 years of experience in developing, implementing, operating, and managing multiple network projects and large-scale IT systems.
- Demonstrated scripting skills in Python, Ansible, or other scripting languages to automate improvements in the network infrastructure.
- Demonstrated experience creating and maintaining various WAN and LAN technologies and tools, such as Cisco switches, firewalls, wireless controllers, access points, F5 load balancers, Cisco's Identity Services Engine (ISE), Cisco's Network Access Control (NAC), Security Manager, and other network technologies.
- Knowledge of system monitoring tools, such as SolarWinds, ServiceNow, Cisco's Digital Network Automation Center (DNAC), Firepower Monitoring Center (FMC), etc., and commands to ensure quick and efficient resolution of issues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and multi-task effectively, with strong analytical ability, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to develop business cases and sell network investment concepts and foster working relationships with key stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience defining metrics that measure success of the technology solution in addressing business and technical requirements and achieving desired outcomes.
- Current Cisco certification.
- Exposure to Cybersecurity concepts and best practices.
