Job Summary:

  • Responsible for safely and accurately receiving and storing materials, processing incoming and outgoing shipments, and delivering complete and on-time orders to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely pull customer orders throughout the day while documenting each step.
  • Ensure that a quality check is performed on all incoming and outgoing material.
  • Inspect items for quality and quantity and for any evidence of damage.
  • Use a forklift to transport material from its storage location to the staging area.
  • Wrap, box, and palletize material for stock or customer orders.
  • Place destination information on packed material and appropriate paperwork.
  • Properly document your actions on sales orders, purchase orders, and transfers.
  • Maintain a clean working area by organizing material on shelves and keeping floors swept.
  • Work cooperatively with warehouse staff to ensure that delivery deadlines are met.
  • Comfortably lifting all day up to 50 pounds of material into a cart or onto a pallet.
  • Ship, transport, and deliver material and customer orders on time and accurately.
  • Maintain daily vehicle inspection reports and comply with all DOT requirements.
  • Perform all job duties in accordance with OSHA and DOT regulations along with all other applicable internal and external policies, rules, regulations, and procedures.
  • Locate material in the pipe yard and warehouse for delivery.
  • Use a forklift to load/unload boxes, pallets, and pipe onto the truck.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalency.
  • Pass pre-employment drug screen.
  • Pass Background Check.
  • Must currently possess and maintain a current and clear driving record.
