Contract Duration: 13 weeks
The Staff Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care through the nursing process. This role includes supervising and directing the activities of other nursing staff and delegating appropriate tasks to ensure effective patient care delivery. All responsibilities must align with established policies and guidelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans for patients.
- Deliver high-quality nursing care based on patient assessments and established care pathways.
- Educate patients and their families throughout the care continuum.
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of nursing interventions and patient progress.
- Communicate significant changes in patient conditions to the medical team promptly.
- Administer medications and perform treatments safely and accurately.
- Execute physician orders as directed.
- Ensure the availability of necessary equipment and supplies for patient care, reporting any issues as needed.
Physical Requirements:
Heavy Work: This position may require lifting and moving objects weighing between 50 to 100 pounds occasionally, and 25 to 50 pounds frequently, as well as 10 to 20 pounds constantly.
