Position Overview

Schultz Veterinary Clinic is on the lookout for a dedicated and skilled Certified Veterinary Technician to become a vital part of our professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer medications and assist in various treatments, diagnostics, and monitoring of in-patient care.
  • Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment, ensuring the highest standards during surgical procedures.
  • Conduct dental care, including ultrasonic cleaning and assisting with surgical interventions.
  • Perform radiographic imaging and assist in the processing of images.
  • Manage laboratory tasks, including sample collection and analysis, while accurately recording results.
  • Engage in client communication, providing updates on hospitalized patients and educating pet owners on at-home care.
  • Support the front desk operations as needed, ensuring a seamless experience for clients and patients alike.
  • Participate in training and mentoring new staff members to foster a collaborative work environment.
  • Assist in inventory management, ensuring that medical supplies are adequately stocked.
