About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Civil Field Engineer to join our team at Sterling Construction Company, Inc.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support to the Project Manager and Project Superintendent
  • Compile and analyze production statistics to identify problem areas
  • Work closely with project teams to ensure timely and accurate project completion
  • Manage project paperwork, correspondence, and submittals
  • Assist in the preparation of work plans and obtain required permits
  • Track project expenses and maintain accurate records
  • Ensure strict adherence to company policies and perform safety inspections
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or equivalent
  • 6 months to 3 years of construction experience, preferably in heavy civil
  • Knowledge of field concepts, practices, and procedures pertaining to highway/road construction
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Pass criminal and driving background checks
