Audiology Health Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Audiology Health Technician to join our team at Solvet. As an Audiology Health Technician, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients with hearing and balance disorders.
Key Responsibilities:- Take accurate ear mold impressions and prepare them for shipping to vendors.
- Track hearing aid orders and communicate with vendors to ensure timely delivery.
- Certify hearing aids and check them for completeness and functionality.
- Instruct patients on the proper use and maintenance of hearing aids and assisted listening devices.
- Perform routine repairs of hearing aids and troubleshoot issues.
- Document patient education and interactions in the medical record.
- Monitor supplies and maintain an adequate stock of materials.
- Communicate with patients on proper ear hygiene and cerumen management.
- State license from any state or National Board for Certification in Hearing Instrument Sciences (NBC-HIS) certification.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Ability to pass government background screening.
This is a full-time position with a 40-hour workweek. The incumbent will work in a fast-paced clinical environment and may be required to lift heavy patients or equipment.
