Key Responsibilities:

  • Provides direct patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse
  • Utilizes skill and expertise to complement other healthcare providers
  • Works in a fast-paced environment with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participates in ongoing education and training to stay current with emergency medical procedures and protocols

Requirements:

  • Currently validated CPR skills
  • Completion of EDT program or EMT program or completed at least first quarter clinicals of an accredited RN or LPN program
  • Post-secondary education preferred
  • EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) or EDT (Emergency Department Technician) experience preferred
